• Monday, August 25, 2008, 12-1PM, Pod: First General AMSA Meeting: Find out what AMSA is about, meet our new board members, eat free lunch, and pick up your free Netters Atlas (follow instructions here).
• Wednesday, August 27, 2008, 5:30-7:30PM, Courtyard: Student Activities Fair: Check out our booth, meet our board, eat some great food!
• Thursday, August 28, 2008, 11AM-4PM, UIC: AMSA Residency Fair: Over 25 residency programs will be represented, ranging from emergency medicine to pediatrics to psychiatry, and schools and hospitals from the states of Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, Wisconsin and Iowa will be present at the fair. In addition, students will have the opportunity to win gift certificates and prizes from local restaurants and businesses as well as test-prep companies like Kaplan and Princeton Review!  The fair is open to the public and usually attended by medical students from around the Chicagoland area.
• Saturday, September 13, 2008, 7:30PM-12:00AM, AMSA Regional Mixer at Joe’s Bar: Meet medical students from over 10 schools in the region for a PRIVATE EVENT at Joe’s Bar on Weed St. in Lincoln Park. Event will take place in their private beer garden!8-10pm – Coors Light and wine all you can drink and unlimited appetizers! 
  Cash bar available afterwards.
